The Northern Prints Gallery is dedicated to the presentation, retails sale, and encouragement of artist-made original prints in all media. It represents the work of the Northern Printmakers Alliance artists, a group of printmakers who either reside in the region or have strong ties to the area. A commitment to the unique artistic contribution of regional art underlies all our endeavors, and we believe that you will be delighted and intrigued to explore the variety and quality of the work of our printmakers.

Established in 2003, the gallery offers at least five different exhibits annually. It has a well established record for excellence in original prints exhibitions and for its innovative, community-minded activities. It is located in the lower floor of a vintage 1891 Duluth home, which affords visitors a unique and friendly gallery experience.

The book, Trail Guide to the Northland Experience in Prints & Poetry by the Northern Printmakers Alliance and the poets of the Lake Superior Writers received the first place award in the Poetry category for the 2009 Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards. Find out how to purchase it here.
